They went out **** scared of losing..

and as we Barnsley Fans know, that usually ends in defeat...

When we got back to 2-2 it was a bit like watching tarn, sitting back conceding posession and giving the opposition room to play and not closing them down.

These coaching manuals, are they any good.......?

mustve been chuckling to himself, sat at home with his full United kit on. as for Sven, will be interesting to see what he says today in his pre match interview, since McClaren was quick to stick the knife in when he left.

    They must be..

folks keep getting jobs on the back of em

It was like watching us, when anyone "outside of football" could see that maintaining the tempo would probably have led to them thinking **** it, lets play out for the draw. But no, McClaren thought we could defend a draw with the worst England Defence and central midfield for yonks.

    I'm sure that Sven...

will not stoop so low. Could be wrong, but seems to have better grace than that

When O Neill and Mourinho say no thanks today

how long before they wonder if its worth ringing him? then remember they shat on him.

My prediction: we'll end up with a part time manager like when Peter Taylor had a stint.

    RE: Gary Neville

Stories of McClaren being lost for words at half time etc have already started to come out from within the squad. Sven'll have a comment from his 5 star Manc hotel suite...

There's probably only Mourhinho who wouldn't give a flying fck about the press in this country. Why would anyone else want to put themselves up for 'scrutiny' from't papers ?

    Piers Morgan for England manager

reckon we should have a X Factor type contest to choose this time, Cowell knows more about charisma than Brian Barwick.

Liz Jones as 1st team coach

For all you Mail on Sunday readers out there.

I'd get lead sportswriters from the red tops plus Alan Mullery and let them sort it.
