    Lure of Championship football is a huge thing. Most of our players this season were completely unproven at the start so I don't see the Bogle logic.

    But they were all proven in league one bogle has scored less than stefan payne in non league and had half a good season in league 2.

    Angus & Yiadom were both in non-league a few years ago and haven't played in League 1.

    Really love your optimism but the real world doesn't work like that . Remember last summer when we thought we'd get Fletcher and Isgrove then January and the Morsy saga . Players don't follow their heart they follow the wonga.

    He's scored more already then Payne will in the Championship and perhaps in league football

    We won't be signing Jones because we will want to build on what's been achieved this season before he arrived on loan and form dropped off.

    That may well be true it may well not. Payne was a gamble last season in same league as bogle he got more goals. Payne didn't cost us 1million pounds though.

    Having said that bogle has scored more championship goals that winnall scince January and winnall is playing in a better team with better service.

    Having thought about this I would be very surprised if the club isn't looking at either fullback at fleetwood, mcgeegans fitness at Luton, Charlie colket at Swindon. Ryan jackson and Bradley Dack at gillingham, billy waters at Cheltenham just as a few more examples of half decent lower league types.

    Living in Mansfield I actually go and watch Mansfield Town more than Barnsley nowadays. They have a player called CJ Hamilton, looks pretty decent, only 21.
