I really did think that you'd misunderstood the original post. Despite your opinions on Bobby I just couldn't imagine anyone thought that about Gerry
I remember him hitting the stadium roof when shooting at goal from about six yards out. Despite his talent he really didn't settle at Oakwell.
Most over-rated player and all-time fans favourite, Chris Morgan. Absolutley baffled why people voted him Player of the Year ahead of Craig Hignett. Hignett voted best player in Div 2 by his contemparies, Morgan nowhere yet BFC fans thought he deserved the award for "none-football" reasons (in terms of skill & technique at playing football) i.e. big heart, put players into wall bottom.
Anderson Da Silva it seems, I seem to be in a minority that thought he wasn't good enough last time, after he got injured at least.
Still a valid entry in this category though A beast of a laiker as my learned colleague points out, but would never be chastised by the fans for a mistake like others
Was that the night he tried to take a corner and scuffed it into the reds fans behind the goal? He tried to blame the pitch.
I always thought Carl Dickinson was pretty decent to be honest, don't think he was really here long enough for people to start getting on his back...I'm sure they would have eventually.
