    I remember Wayne Biggins being quite a prominent player for Stoke, so was surprised we managed to sign him. We rarely signed players i'd heard of back then. Following that, I was surprised we'd managed to swap Biggins for Andy Payton. At that time, the idea that we could sign someone that was getting a game at Celtic seemed far fetched. Sadly, Glavin was before my time, so cannot compare the unexpected transfers from Celtic...

    I’d always thought that Charlie Williams had played for us but apparently he was signed by donny rovers at 19 yers old and played over 150 games for them. Met him a few times int legends suite and was convinced he’d been a red. Every days a school day !
