Kennedy was poor at RB, but did ok at LB,in second half. Nyatanga was shocking, but he's rusty. Blackburn looked a very good side, could see the quality in there side.
Kennedy had an excellent. Game.and it is not difficult to see nayatanga couldn't get a game in a side that got relegated last season
I thought Kennedy did ok considering he was playing out of position. Nyatanga was worse but as usual the left full back was completely exposed.
No he was not excellent, he was OK, better than the comments on this thread make it appear, but excellent ??
I dislike Kennedy as much as anyone but he didn't do much wrong at all tonight. Some very harsh criticism on here.
I'm not sure if my favourite Kennedy moment was the one where he saw Gestede running towards him so he **** himself and tapped it out of play, or the one where - after checking back 100 times previously, he finally had the chance to lay the ball back to Digby in a crossing position and instead just passed it to their centre back. A left back who played better when he was at right back. Bizarre. Poor right back, awful left back. Where I would agree is that Nyatanga was no better - we are ******* desperate for a new left back.
I think Danny Wilson has to take most of the responsibility for doing a Flicker move of playing a player out of position. He had plenty of options as from left to right he could have gone with...... Kennedy, Ramage, M'Voto or Nyatanga, Cranie.

You must love watching us play if you think Kennedy was excellent. The most easily pleased man in South Yorkshire.
Couldn't believe it when I saw Kennedy trotting over to right back. Got to say that Danny got it wrong with that one but the over-riding thing coming out of tonight is that nobody can seriously push the line that Lewin is a candidate for left back on a regular basis. Dunn ran the game for the first 45 minutes and Cairney also very good for them. Thought Ramage did pretty well tonight. Praying Ryan Mac is fit for Saturday and that we can find a left back too.
When Cranie was played at right back, he was poor and Wilson got some stick for playing him there, so today he leaves him in the middle and he gets some stick for doing that too !! Kennedy has played at right back for Barnsley before, in fact his best game was at right back, in his first match against Birmingham ! So it was not so much of a bad decision to play him there again , was it ?? I will just add that if it means we keep Cranie in the middle and dont have to play the big daft chuff M`Voto, then I would be happy for Kennedy to play there all season , but not instead of Ryan .
Kennedy showed just how versatile he can be. Rubbish left back even worse right back I look forward to his next attempt Forward maybe...
