I'm going to go to Tesco HQ tomorrow and shout that I want Terry Leahy to leave.

I wonder how much notice they'll take of me?

    RE: upsetting the apple cart?

So says the biggest knee jerk reacting nit picker of the lot! That should persuade any waverers to show a bit of caution. Do you really want to be on Supertyke's side of the fence?

    Slight difference in that

Tesco are an amazing and enduring success story.

Simon Davey just about scratches home each season and we expect to get beaten by just about everybody in the division (and they expect to beat us too).

    So many issues there

I hope your questions get answered - but if not - we have to ask just who the supporters trust represents ? Supporters or the club ?

However - a demo at the Reading game ? If that happens we fans want fcking milking, get a grip man.

Keep on and Cryne might just fck off - that may please Supertyke and his ilk but I'd like a list of suitable candidates to take over from him please.

A season's 46 games - the manager won't last if current form carries on but if it doesn't ???

Sleep on it mate, that's my advice.

If you want to get really worried........

go and read that thread on TykesMad...........and I thought there were some crazies on here.
Just look at how many say "well if Cryne gets fed up he can go as well" and "Cryne can go too, the club will survive".
Absolutely lunatics with very short memories.
Think very carefully about whether Simon Davey is more important to you than BFC, cos if Cryne says "sod it" and walks we will most probably be left with **** all.

    If current form carries on?

Do you mean this bad run of form that started after the Burnley game?

Let's face it - it's not his first bad run is it??

    RE: Slight difference in that

Well I'm not in business but I understand that Tesco had bout £60 billion revenue last year with about £3 billion profit while they demonstrate growth in an economy in recession. Plus the fact that they are absolutely everywhere selling just about everything. Admittedly, I'm not very qualified in this area, but I'd call that pretty good overall. Is there a specific reason why their Chief Exec should get the chop?

If people like Supertyke think that all there is to the apple cart is the league position they are dangerously misguided. Very worrying times, not least because a vocal minority are not using their noggins.

Yes - because I don't like him, and I have a list of a hundred imaginary people who can all do a better job.

Why are you comparing people wanting a failing manager out to wanting a successful CEO out? nt

    RE: Doyle saved this club

With no money. He made the situation far worse by borrowing money from virtual loan sharks. Have you got Alzheimers?

How did he make it worse?

We were in administration about to be shut and he was the only one who made a written bid to save the club. If he hadnt done so it was bye bye barnsley. Perhaps if others had made written bids then Doyle wouldn't have needed to step in and borrow from loan sharks.

I'm not having a go at Cryne because I firmly blame Matt Dunham and co for not handling the situation properly but in the situation that they created it was doyle that stepped in and saved us from extinction.

RE: How did he make it worse?

You've forgotten the Sterling consortium then and their extortionate rates of interest? That meant Cryne had to find twice as much money to save the club later.

    Which would you have preferred?

Doyle to save the club but double the debt or for the club to have closed its doors with a small debt?
