The questions I would ask are something like this,

    1. You told Davey this summer to build a rapport with the fans, how do you think that's going Mr Cryne?

    2. Davey pledged a more attack minded 4-4-2 instead of the negative crap he produced last season, yet by only our 2nd away game we are reverting back to one up front hence the usual 1-0 away defeat yesterday, what's PC's opinion on this?

    3. Davey has stated last week that if the Gray deal went through that would be it, yet in Friday's Chronicle he is bemoaning the lack of cover in certain areas, proof should any be needed that Davey has failed to assemble a proper squad, but yet has no intention of sorting that out. And that's before yesterday's injury to Hassell and despite the fact that we've a 35 year old CH playing with injections in every game. Thoughts Patrick?

    4. Davey makes foolish statements in the press about dropping players who are not performing, but cannot back this up with actions due to the paper thin squad he has chosen to go with this season. Thoughts please Mr Cryne.

    5. PC has stated himself publicly that he expects "year on year improvement" as we supposedly strive to become an established solid Championship club. As this is clearly not happening why has he not yet taken action?

    6. Can he give you some reason as to why he deems that Davey is still suitable to manage BFC?

Good luck tomorrow although I very much doubt anyone will have the guts to see you. Failing that good luck with the protest. I'm away for 2 weeks now so won't be there on Saturday myself (and to be fair I would not be paying £21 to watch that crap if I were here, like you I am sick of watching BFC under this manager) but make sure the protest goes ahead regardless of the result. My biggest worry is that in true Davey fashion he'll pox a result against Reading and keep his job for lord knows how much longer.

    All the best.

    Nice picture.

Perhaps cartoons, as opposed to words, are your thing.

It mightn't be a *great* analogy, but it is a *valid* one. We, as supporters, purchase a service from the football club. The club makes its decisions as a business - it doesn't and shouldn't give a toss that a handful of maverick supporters don't like this or that.

I'm not a Davey lover, but calling for his removal after five games is pathetic. There's more heat than light generated when we're on a losing run. It needs cool heads and unflustered thinking - from the people who matter - to appraise the situation.

I suspect we'd be a lot better off without Davey. It's not my decision to make, though, and I'll not be trying to force our owner's hand.

RE: How did he make it worse?

BFC has needed saving on many occasions since Cryne bought it in 2003, currently to the tune of over £5m. You'd prefer Doyle to have stayed on?

RE: Which would you have preferred?

You were saying Doyle saved the club. He didn't. He delayed it's closure but it was Cryne that came in with the pukka readies and actually saved it.

RE: you don't speak for me

You don't speak for me either - why don't you try getting a ticket and going to the matches and getting behind the lads instead of stirring up more trouble? Wouldn't that be much more worthwhile? As for the meeting with Patrick tomorow, I thought you had your meeting with him at the East Dene 'cos nobody else could get a word in until after the break when you'd finished. If you want to discuss this with me, I'll be happy to see you at Reading - oh no though, I forgot - you'll be sat at home on a computer stirring instead of supporting YOUR team!

I never said that I wanted Doyle to stop on or that I want cryne out (other than when I said for his own sake in reference to him saying he wants to leave) all that I have said is that when barnsley needed saving Doyle stepped up and did what he could and fans should not forget that

your analogy still makes no sense

You should be comparing a tesco store manager to davey, not the CEO of the company.

And i'm glad you don't run a business if your attitude is not to care what your customers think

You were trying to argue that Cryne hasn't saved the club which is utter nonsense. He saved it when taking over from Doyle and several times since.

    The big, big difference is

if I shop at Tesco and it goes down the shitter I have a variety other supermarkets I can patronise

If Barnsley Football Club goes down the shitter (regardless of the extent) I'm stuck with 'em. As is just about everyone else.

    however

if you lived in a small village that had a tesco express that you relied on and the manager there was crap, stock in the wrong place on the shelf, prices not matching up and essential products out of stock then you would quite rightly write to the head office of tesco complaining.

    you are over reacting

The football club is still in a strong position

What would you do if the club was actually in trouble, eg. leeds, Southampton, Charlton Norwich need i go on

United we stand, Divided we fall.

As for asking the Trust for the removal of Davey - I'm not sure how you expect that to work? We are always in the position to put forward the views of our members. In this case it would need to be all of our members and up until this point the great majority have always been 100% behind Simon Davey. If you were to table a motion at our meeting in September then the members would be able to vote on this and put forward their views if they are changed. You must see we can't take the opinion of one person as representative. If send me your Q&A I will see if we can get feedback on it.

As others have already said, have some faith in Patrick Cryne to make the big decisions when the time is correct. 4 games in probably isn't that time. Until that time get behind the team 100%. I didn't make the game yesterday but those that did said there wasn't very much in it. Hume's missed chance and we would have had a point. Booing the players, protests against the manager will do more harm than good IMHO.

I also understand Patrick is on holiday.

For me Cryne don't live on planet mars, you don't need to have Crynes ear he watches same rubbish as us.
All I want is some entertaining football on a Saturday afternoon something that I'm sure Cryne wants too.

    whether you agree or not

just do not agree witth the 4 game thiing that some keep banging on about. As far as I can see the main reason that mostpeople are annoyed (apart from the losses!) is the fact that tactically we are serving up the same dross that we have for the last 2 seasons ie replicating the stuff that has'nt been working making the same mistakes (and all we get is we must try harder.Trying harder should'nt be a bloody option they should alraedy be giving 100%

He said 'Doyle saved this club....Cryne played his part AFTER...'

What a ridiculous twist of things. Cryne only 'played his part'! It should read 'Doyle played his part...but Cryne saved the club'.

A blind man can see that he's trying to devalue Cryne's contribution to justify having a go at him about Davey. Obsessed.
