    I might be wrong but I dont think he could do that - I think spanish law prohibits him taking a contract at less than half the previous one so he couldnt sign on for free even if he wanted to. No idea whether he would have done if possible

    I'd setup a fund for my kids schools, give some to the local foodbank charities, setup my own charity. Oh, I would indulge in a proper mint camper van/and or a barge - bit of a fantasy of mine, thats what you dream about when you get middle aged!!

    I'd work for a month and resign. £1.6m should get me a little house and enough to live on forever if invested sensibly.

    Could probably run to two months just to be sure.
