Someone posted on here that similar cases have resulted in suspended points deductions or a fine, not sure who has committed the same offence tho.

Pleading guilty before trial will see the defendant with a lower sentence than if they plead not-guilty. Even after sentencing, admitting guilt is a pre-requisite for parole - so you have the case like the guy who served longer than his original sentence until his conviction was overturned.

This isn't a law court. It's a bunch of bent f cukers in the EFL.

    Eh ????
The Birmingham one was far worse, they took over running a club without passing the OADT, we just failed to tell them about the share split according to that.

But in Birminghams case did they ever actually take control or hide the true people behind the takeovers? No and no, we were taken over by people claiming to be something they were not - the actual owners as opposed to sock- puppets - I personally think that is far more serious.

They took over and were running the club, by the sounds of it we either didn’t declare the actual share distribution, didn’t advise the EFL that PC was running it or didn’t declare some very minor share holders, out of them 3 the last one is similar to Birmingham but given the actual share allocation of those people is almost negligible.

All that angst and speculation - all for no reason.

    Moving on ……

The efl legal fees might be quite significant - but no sporting sanction is excellent news. (Not that anything more than fine was ever likely; and we haven’t even been given that).

Draw a line under it and move on.

It only says we have contributed to, not paid for, so hopefully a token gesture. They’ve got £175k back from Conway and Lee!

Have they though? I'm expecting Conway to take the Donald Trump route of "It was rigged, should never have been investigated etc, etc and just ignore it!

Yeah I think we've got a result there, and it feels like we've won on penalties, after many months of extra time lol.
The right verdict was reached, and hopefully we can now put this behind us. :)

I remember someone on twitter telling me to **** off because I had told them I think they were being over dramatic, and afterwards I figured they just weren't fully informed on whats actually happened.

I mentioned it'll be a fine, anything worse and we will easily win on appeal, he told me 'all' our owners are fraudsters and the club could be extinct, lol. Hence my reply about being a tad over dramatic...
