VAR is like science. Science, as someone once posted on here, is good but it is sometimes the interpretation of the results that lets it down. The VAR slo-mo, clearly showed goalkeeper had his eye on the ball and not the player behind him. Any contact between the three players involved was simply down to all three going for the ball. As regards offsides we really need to simplify... e.g. clear daylight between attacker and defender infinitesimally small margins like elbows, big toes or nasal hair!!
The best players in the world being accused of cheating, just shows what football has become, win at any cost. Most teams have these outstanding role models. The rest is more about not losing than winning, slow tippy tappy at the back and across midfield just keeping possession, slash wrist time for the spectator.
