There probably is a Coke problem at the big London clubs, but not close to the alcohol problems at most grounds in the country.

I’m a habitual drinker, but I’ve never understood attending a football game or a gig whilst pis sed, it makes no sense to me.

A bottle of wine enhances an evening with mates, talking sh ite. A load of beer with the family barbie etc or even a couple of drinks in front of the telly to relax. But going to Wembley to see my team get promoted? I want to savour every moment.

Interesting you should quote London clubs... my personal take is it may be a cultural thing with those cheeky Cockernees "darn sarf"... I moved down there in 2000 and on a building site they were 'chopping up' on the Friday with their trowels!
"Want one Barnsley?" Is all they said. No hiding the fact etc

Just reminded me, In the early 1980s, probably about 81/82, my local was used as a local by the local plod. The Landlord had previously been the manager at the Old Penny Farthing pub in Tarn and got to know quite a few of them. They held a private Xmas party and after copious amounts of alcohol was consumed, they proceeded to perform the Dance of the blazing @rseholes. Apparently, after dropping their pants, sheets of screwed up newspaper were strategically placed in their behinds and set alight and they ran around the pub dancing. The landlady said to me she’d never seen as many c@cks all at once.

but, but, what about peoples rights and freedom of movement. i'm being sarcastic. i believe that anyone operating outside the law should then not expect that same law to protect them
