    what money is that then windy?

    all my daughter has got from the government is a loan that she has got to pay back.

    My Masters was funded by...

    European Social Fund. Certain areas of the UK are so deprived that ESF gives money to people to get qualifications and work there after University. I did an MA and I'm running a new business which brings money into a deprived area.

    If only the UK government were as forward thinking then there might not be so many problems with unemployment and difficulties with attracting skilled workers to regions of the UK.

    i thought you got paid for doing the pgce and up until recently

    got your student loans paid off by the government?
