RE: What do you do David to be working on Saturdays?

I have a shop in Lincoln and my Saturday hours are usually 10 till 5, but on match days I try to close at 1pm.
I know I'd be so half-hearted tomorrow having to do the 60 mile journey..... for what?

    You expect us to win!

With our current team? Have you seen them play?

Nowt wrng with hoping for the team to win, I'll never stop doing that. A fan that expects the team to win every week and then doesn't go because results are a bit rubbish can only be described as FICKLE!

and can go and support the Blunts for all I care.

The nature of football is that every season, out of 24 teams in our league the fans from 3 teams are happy, the fans of 4 are pissed off and the fans of 17 can hope it's their tunr next season. If you EXPECT to be in the happy three you've got to be deluded.

Lets just be glad we aren't in the pissed off 4 category. I'm just glad I'm not a Wednesday fan.

    Fair enough on cost but

when people start factoring in everything else to that then you have to look at alternatives........
parking - try street parking so you aren't forking out extra.
programme - can't remember last time I bought one
pie/coffee - why? a game including half time is 2 hours - why people can't last 2 hours without a pie constantly amazes me.

Yes I know that it's all part of the "matchday experience" but if you are looking at costs then 2 games of knocking those on the head pays for your 3rd game!

But how many of those that voted that they would stop going

are ones that have ALREADY stopped going either from the start of this season or before.

I would pick and choose games no doubt if I didn't have a season ticket - but I would have done that for quite a few years.

RE: "Go out and spend £40"?

That's a bloody expensice night if I spend that much - I expect to have been for a meal as well.
Normally not more than about £20 - but then that's cause I steer away from paying sky high prices for ***** beer. Funny that, I spend less and have a much better night out than if I spend loads!

    And yet...

Still couldn't spell "were" correctly, even on the 2nd attempt.

All these Doncaster Rovers fans who keep coming on here really aren't setting a good example for Doncaster, it's coming over as a very simple place.

    RE: 22%

I think you might have a few in there though who had already stopped going - I know a guy at work stopped going at start of last season when he didn't renew season ticket

Yes, and some who said they are but aren't and maybe one or two mistakes and maybe the cat walked across somebody's keyboard.
