He certainly looked much more composed than Luke. Perhaps the Captains arm band should be taken off Luke so he can focus on keeping the ball out of the net.
I don't think we can decide between the two keepers as of yet as Pollitt had very little to do today; even though we were under the cosh for large spells. I still think it's madness to play a 41 year old ahead of r Steeley though. From what I've seen so far (today and Tuesday), it's exactly what it is - Pollitt's 13 year's older and is therefore slower in probably every area; particularly when rushing off his line. Bit bigger though.
I can decide between them, none of the above, one is too old and the other makes too many mistakes and hardly inspires confidence in his defenders, new goalkeeper needed.
He had a very good game today but so did the defence in front of him. On today's showing Steele us going to struggle to get back in the team.
I thought he did well but he did well with crosses and kicking which I expected him to do well with. I'll judge him when he has some shots to deal with, a keeper's reaction's & agility is the worry with a 41 year old.
He didn't have alot to do today because whenever they crossed the ball he came and dealt with it by coming off his line to catch it.
Shotstopping? I don't think he stopped a single shot - I can only remember 1 on target and that was the goal. Maybe one acrobatic volley from Vaughan that went straight at him.
Finally got round to watching his interview and he talks a lot of sense. Impressed with him, won me round.
