Thats it then, every person should be checked.

Even the ST holders who take their child and one of their childs mate who pay's on the gate and gets a ticket for the other side of the stand and therefore must sit alone or get banned at the mere age of 6.

The stewards came down to our part of the stand after one of the younger lads. He went on our row. We wouldn't let the stewards go on our row after him. As we were stood looking at each other somebody pushed from behind us and 2 or 3 ended up on the floor including one of my mates who is probably nursing some sore ribs now cos he ended up on the bottom of the pile. That was about it really. Not sure what was going off at the back of the stand but I see no reason for the stewards to be in with the home fans all game. They cause the disruption not the young lads

You know I agree with you on this topic, mate. But it does say "unreserved seating" on the tickets to be fair.

Certainly seems that way from what most people have been saying.

So that absolves the club of the responsibilities outlined on it's certificate...I very much doubt that is the case..to suggest(not having a go at you MES btw)that its ok to have one game where you know everyones seat..excluding pay on the gate punters obviously...to a situation where you have no idea at all who is in the stadium is OK by the certificate seems highly unlikely to me...The Club are just using it as the excuse to discipline these kids.personally I'm not convinced it's the best way of doing it..as others have said,if the certificate is critical, 9000 and odd people should expect to have their tickets checked on a regular basis..if Doyles went about it like they did on saturday..there would be a lot more unhappy people....lets hope someone has a quiet word in their ear and we can put the unsavoury scenes of the last two home games to rest.
