There you have it. Commitments would stay the same no doubt. They would remain commitments whether or not we're in the EU. That's the thing with the remain campaign it blows everything out of proportion to suit an agenda because it lost a referendum result.
I would have thought that fewer staff and resources would be necessary following the departure of one of the larger (in terms of population and GDP) member states.
If 1 student pulls out of class does the teacher stop teaching that class until the space is refilled?
If you were a treasurer in charge of finances for 28 members and one pulls out. You would still have a job in charge of finances for 27 members would you not?
27 members would inevitably require fewer time and resources devoting to them than 28 members, as night follows day.
If 65 pupils pull out of a school with 450 students, a couple of teachers and 2-3 teaching assistants get sacked. If those teachers and teaching assistants quit to go with the pupils, some kids are shuffled around. If you are a treasurer in charge of finances for 28 members and one pulls out, you have less work to do.
Oh well... back on the ranch. The remainers will win the argument and the U.K will never leave the E.U so it's a faux pass anyway.
As I said earlier (or on another thread), you can have a fast Brexit or a good Brexit, you can't have a fast, good Brexit. Take your pick. The WA is being put back for a vote, and could yet be passed.
