If you go back further into ancient history then some other group could lay claim to it.

Modern day international law is what matters. The Israelis are occupying land that under that law does not belong to them. That's what needs to be enforced.

 

Wars are what determine who has claim to lands. That how it’s always been and always will be.

 

Maybe the Arabs should have accepted the 1948 UN backed Palestinian state agreement then rather then continuing to try and destroy Israel and consequently lose more land? Israel has made peace agreements with Jordan and Egypt and given them land back - if Syrah wants the Golan heights, for example, it should learn from its neighbours.
Arab countries and Palestinians have continually refused to accept any of the various peace proposals over the last 60 years instead preferring to try and force Israel out of existence through military means, they have kept losing. With defeat comes consequences, just ask Germany and the millions of East Germans who were forced to leave places like königsberg after ww2.

 

So basically because Israel have the support of rich countries then **** what's right, they should be allowed to commit genocide and Palestine should accept it

If the boot was on the other foot, I somehow doubt you'd be saying that Jewish people were to blame for not agreeing to various proposals and should just accept their loss of land because the "Arabs stole it after a war".

But still... Maybe Israel and Netanyahu should have chosen not to fund Hamas to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars in an attempt to undermine the strength of the PLO, all whilst knowing they were a religious fundamentalist group?

 

So, let's just pause to consider the facts, the Palestine peace march was almost without incident considering the numbers involved (estimates range from 300,000 to 800,000) whilst over a mile away, a small number of the "defenders of the Cenotaph" mostly composed of deluded ex-military types and hard-right haters like the National Front and "football hooligans" caused absolute mayhem with many people injured in clashes with the police.

no, what I said was if you fight wars, lose said wars, and even then reject the peace you should be prepared for the winner to secure land to make it harder for your next undeclared war.
As I have stated, Israel should dismantle its illegal settlements in the West Bank, but they are not "committing genocide" - although they have always had the power to do so since the final Arab defeats in 1973 - if they had lost any of those wars you would certainly have seen a real genocide of the Jewish population.
they withdrew from Gaza in 2005, if Hamas hadn't decided to invade Israel and kill thousands of civilians there'd be no Israeli troops in Gaza today - with the stated aim of destroying Hamas, who hide behind their citizens like cowards, use them as human shields and kill those who try to escape.

 

Israel politicians are saying in interviews that they want to destroy Palestine and empty it of Palestinians. They are talking of a second Nakba. They are committing war crimes daily. They are trying to remove all Palestinians from Palestine which is indeed genocide.

if say Hamas were hiding in a hospital in Tel Aviv would they bomb that hospital? If not why not?

prior to the vile attack by Hamas thousands of Palestinians have been murdered. The seeds of Hamas who are partly funded by Israel were sown in those actions.

 

The Arabs started every single war against Israel, do you see the difference? Israel and Ukraine defended themselves against invaders, and you can bet Ukraine will take back The Crimea and other areas if they win.

 

If we are going back in history then it does, btw I don’t agree with it or have a opinion on the war in Palestine.

One Israeli cabinet member said he wanted Palestine to be destroyed and he was sacked immediately from government - an elected government - something of a novelty in the region, by novelty I mean the only functioning democracy in the entire region. The destruction of Israel is written into the founding document of Hamas, and is still there.
