compared to the pr***s below that think its a joke gally you could be right there is more to this reported behaviour, the club need to get rid of the moronic people that give the club a bad name mainly east stand lower people, dont get me wrong i aint be no angel but that was 20 plus years ago older you get wiser the older you get, time for the club to stand to the scum we unfortunately have
This isn't about naming and shaming our own scum, it's about trying to pass the blame on to "visitors" in with our fans. It's embarrassing.
and thats why we should out the scum that follow the clubnot only the opponent think about it and come real world
Which real world are you on about? The one where we identify the morons tarnishing our football club or the one where we act like schoolkids and try and blame it on someone else?
Can it not be both? Sorry to embarrass you John but are you saying it isn't feasible that the known trouble causers invited other non-fans along as trouble was on the cards? THere's been some suggestion that there were a fair few new faces in the crowd and as well as surprise at the away crowd off the back of a home defeat. Police intelligence during the problems with the flares last season indicated that this was in fact the case at Oakwell thus the question. THe issues Port Vale had last season when Wolves visited advertised their hooligan element in Port Vale on a national level. Again sorry for any embarrassment I've caused you by posting a simple question on the forum. FFS!
I'm not ruling it out 100% but it just comes across as passing the buck, which is the only embarrassment here. Each to their own though, if you disagree.
I think you'd find that this is usually the case for incidents like this though. I wouldn't have thought your hardcore hooligans would all be die hard supporters of the club. Look at when we have big games at home and all the numptys come out of the woodwork. Difference with the home games is that some of the troublecausers won't even bother going to the match and will stay in the pub until picking up where they left off after the game has ended. I guess this is what happened to the lads who were assaulted in Huddersfield last season. They came out of the ground early and were ambushed by a gang who probably didn't even go to the match. The problem is, whether they were regular fans of the club or not, they were from Barnsley and the trouble they caused will be in Barnsley's name.
