I like to think that everyone is entitled to their opinions on here and that the BBS is balanced and gives people the benefit of the doubt. However, what I will say is that sometimes I think that Phil just throws a hand grenade into the mix to stir up emotions and responses. He contributes significantly to this site, but there are times when I wish he would engage in further discussions when he makes his statements, not doing so significantly diminishes his argument. I would never get personal in my comments to Phil, but I, like others on here, put up up counter arguments to his comments but he never engages, which is very disappointing.
No but he would have been our top scorer by some distance. So norwood gets a couple of goals but turns out abit of a failure but this kid at pompey scores 20+ you would have to say he would be right we would have been better off with scarlett... not saying that will happen just a scenario. Other way round norwood scores 20+ and the lad at pompey has a mare scores 0 and gets sent back to spurs to play with the kids everyone will be bumping this thread and jumping on higgy works both ways
That's what I'm saying though, there's loads of variables. And as I said in earlier post, the initial opinion isn't the problem. The problem is Hemsy berating our players/board straight away, before the season even starts
I never thought we could get to 9 pages with such drivel. Some hint at him having issues but comment. (Wrong in my view. Why not steer clear. Probably does more harm than good) One thing is. One side or both will be proven right or wrong. And then the floodgates open again. (Told you so. smug childish remarks)
