James Hi, You can see a similar thing happening at Spurs with Harry Redknap. He was hailed as a miracle worker when he arrived, but Spurs haven't done much at all in recent weeks. They have now lost Defoe, so lts how good the manager really is... I think all that JohnnyCoachman is trying to say is that Billy Davies has done great so far at Forest, but will he be able to maintain this without strengthening the team further? Earnshaw seems to be scoring again, but he is notoriously temperamental...

RE: James Well we won't know if he has been successful until the end of the season but they looked dead and buried and now they have a good chance of staying up - better chance than we have IMO A manager can come in, change things around and have success without bringing in loads of new players or spending a fortune
