    Simple memories of hours spent with my now late grandad, and my dad, and doing it all again now with my son. Phrase of the day in the car after matches, whilst I was trying to listen to Bob Jackson, was "They'll get bloody football stopped that lot". Tis often quoted now. Lifelong friends collected along the way.

    Birdshit ont seats has hed a wesh off this season and floor was actually swept before Setdi game (not to a very high standard like) but still 2 games in a week and it weren`t left til after second game that's got to be a positive. Would be nice if it was checked after every game and done when needed doing.

    If it wasn't for Barnsley FC I wouldn't have married my second wife. I think I may be quite rare in that one of the grounds my first wife stated for divorce was my obsession with BFC. This appeared on our divorce papers and given that we were on the brink of promotion to the premier I viewed it as a reasonable trade off.

    Oakwell is still a special place even if the football is gash. Great memories, old friends and that Grimsby/Rotherham/Bradford game that all saw promotion.
