Well it kinda is. If we accept that Hungary’s government are a bunch of idiots, then expecting our government to follow their lead re Covid is ridiculous.
How long should we wait before we go back to normal? People allowed in football games? Parents can watch there kids at sports days? Carnivals? Nightclubs open? The rest of it? How long? Covid is here to stay once the vulnerable are vaccinated we need to get back to normality. And for the record its not just Hungary, Denmark, Australia America all back to normality. I can see rebellion if boris puts it back again.
And all had vastly different methods to manage it. My point was simply that Hungary are being governed by morons. Would you have settled for the Australian response? We're stuck being managed by a shower of sh !te, but it's no help to compare us at any single point with any other country and saying we should be like them on this bit - because it's a mix of strategies. You can't cherry pick. Again - we've got it wrong massively, so there's no point pretending that we can go from a point 15months in and erase the mistakes made already - which all have consequences.
America have got through it via vaccine rollout we have vaccinated over 30million so all the vulnerable and still messing about. We will see what happens when he has said we will fully open up but peoples patience is wearing thin, less and less people are complying.
