I'm not one for persistent negativity these days (I've not forgotten my tirades against Simon Davey!) and certainly not one for knee jerk reactions. But neither am I blind to dreadful performances such as today's.
I thought that Gomez looked like he could play a bit and when he gets acclimatised and Integrated into the team could be an asset. After that I’m struggling. I like Oduor as a player but he is nowhere near the standard for a Championship forward.
I received my rapid antigen testing kit for my travel to Italy on Monday to view houses, so a positive Saturday for me
We played much, much better than today. Still lost 4-0 and I didn’t think Bournemouth got out of second gear that day. Just shows how these teams can do this to you with the talent at their disposal. So the fact we played worse, and didn’t lose by as many, is a positive is it not?
Manager needs more time we agree but he needs to show us some progression and something to get us excited, QPR game was fantastic for 45 mins but that day he set the bar high today I hope that was his lowest, Today folks will moan and Tuesday is another day with most fans back on side.
I just don’t get personally why it’s even a discussion around time for the new head coach. It’s been an absolute car crash of a season so far availability wise - some the club’s fault but also things out of their control. All opinions though I just struggle with the over the top ones. Repeating myself so apologies but it looks like the only time we’ll really know where we are with Schopp is after the October/November fixtures. Players up to speed, both with his instructions and just general match fitness, and then also first teasers back in the match day squad.
Causing thissen stress fella, tek another look tomorrow when folk have hed time to get rid of the emotion.
Positives. We've played a lot of the teams at the top of the table (possibly because they've all played us) No. 11 Leya Iseka looked ok. I made my train home
Positives: I didn’t go so I don’t have to drive all the way home all pissed off. I was in Old Trafford so I couldn’t even see the game or even find out how we were getting on as the internet didn’t work on my phone.
