It will be worth the wait, get ready though it will be tough going afterwards. I'm starting to see a little bit of light now.
What's worrying me is the lack of fight. Even if the performances aren't great then there should be some fight in the team but there isn't. We're not competing for second balls, giving the ball away far too easily and just generally picking the wrong option. What are the players suppose to think when their head coach is sat sulking in the dug out at half time.
Andy is a decent chap Helen, followed BFC all over the country. No reason for him to bull ****. When he says it's bad you know it is!!
Well, time will tell. Don't think it's very helpful getting on his back so early on, it was never going to be easy taking over from Val.
Positives: The first eight minutes were excellent. Frieser looks like a different player this season. Shame he didn't get any service. But when he dropped back, such close control and fast feet.
There’s some interesting reads about parachute payments in the media again. In my opinion very unfair and totally contradictory as the FA are quick to punish teams lower down for over spending yet make rich teams even richer! I believe Bournemouth had spent something in the region of 130 million on players recently and that’s just to strengthen the squad; we can’t even begin to browse in those shop windows. You can’t blame them tbh particularly as other teams seem to soak the cash up. Problem is, you end up with the same teams flipping backwards and forwards from championship to premiership and the rest of us trying our best to compete on small budgets! Despite the unprecedented success of last season, we need to be spending three to four times as much to have any real chance of promotion.
Sadly I have to agree, I was saddened to see our lads playing without any conviction or belief, this is the first time I have seen them so lacking in confidence. The one thing big val gave them. Which showed in our display against Chelsea also with multi million pound squad.
Moon handled himself well and gained good experience against an excellent side playing well. Couple of debuts of players who'll only get better. Collins recovered brilliantly from his mistake to make some great saves. We were playing without one of our best players in each of defence, midfield and attack. That's all I've got.
That same person has also accused Schopp of being sat in the dugout for “half of the half time team talk” No idea why he’s stayed in the dugout, but I also wouldn’t expect the coach to be talking to them for 15 minutes solid at half time either.
