I'd love us to get promoted and Duff be allowed to wheel and deal with 2 or 3 quality old head free transfers and a couple of loans could see us being very competitive in the championship.

Don't have a prayer with these mate. Possibly a loan for Stansfield but Fulham will offer him a contract just to get some coin from someone.

Clarke-Harris didn't pull up any trees in the championship years ago for Rotherham, he had a record of about 1 in 3&half games for Peterborough in his one season with them in the championship with 12 goals in 41 games. I think he'd be too expensive for one, but I also think he's probably one of those players in that grey zone, bit too good for league one, but not quite good enough for the championship, similar to players like Vydra, Rhodes, Knockaert, etc who are probably too good for championship but not premier league. I would take him if it was possible but very much doubt it would be possible, especially getting a player from McAnthony.

I'd steer very, very clear of Ince. No chance with McBurnie, and unless we make Joao our highest paid player ever, no chance with him either, unless board are willing to pump some serious money in. Honestly, I'd stay away from big names, especially the older ones. All just my opinion ofcourse..!

I genuinely believe club is going in the right direction now, in regards to both the board & staff. Full confidence in Duff signing players he wants with whatever the club signs off on.
