I can't remember, but it might have been Blackpool or the like - it was not a top side. If he has family at school in this country now, it may well be that he is looking to stay here, find a player-coach role in a lower division side and then move into management. It is a believeable rumour that he is off to a mid-table/lower table championship side. Wish I could remember which one. I don't think he is for us, however.

I went to a Sportsman's Dinner in Manchester earlier this month. there was a football agent sat on our table. He asked us who we supported and when my friend and I said Barnsley, he started to laugh. He said that Barnsley are one of the poorest paying teams in the Championship in terms of wages on offer.

Posters on here keep mentioning players that we have no chance of getting. This "poor payers" may be one of the reasons why we have "shopped" abroad in recent times.
