He's also likely to get an offer of more than we'd be willing to pay if we're still in this league, but he's certainly someone I think we should be looking at. He'd fit our style perfectly, and he's still young

 

Britt wouldn’t get in our team now and we’re nowhere near a Prem side. If we do go up, we’d need to strengthen with players that are better than the six we have now up front and not worse.

If we go up I'd say that Dike and Morris would be worth a bash in the Prem. The others would probably not be up to it. A typical problem for promoted sides - do you bin the proven Championship quality players in an attempt to stay up, knowing that if you go down you'll have players on big contracts who will probably need offloading, and then you need to build a decent Championship side once again.

 

He’s had a very disappointing career, his highlight form wise is arguably still his loan spell with us - and he only scored one in four then in the league, though one in three overall. He just about hit one in four last season at boro but apparently is well down the pecking order there now.

There’s a player in there but I’d leave well alone.

As for Britt Assombalonga, no. Just no.
