    It’s a penalty because even though he didn’t touch him he slid out and gave the player the opportunity to dive and buy the penalty - what the **** are they on about ???!!!’

    On first viewing yes, so I can understand the ref giving it. On slow motion viewing, I'd hold my hands up every time when there was zero contact and laugh at how wrong and carried away I was.

    On the flip side if he had taken him out They could say, well he clearly cleaned him out but the attacker mis controlled it so gave him the chance to kick him into the stand - so no pen for me Bryan
