    Brittain is not a central midfielder. Surprised he is seen as a better option than gomes, maybe man city will sign brittain in his place

    Just arrived in the Stoke car park. £6!! I said I don’t want to buy one!

    It’s fair to say I’m here more in hope than expectation. Probably wouldn’t have come but it’s the only ground in the Division I’ve not been to.

    Not to be a negative Nigel but in recent days I've caught up with all of our games. Other than the QPR game I can honestly say we look very weak when in possession. No direction or ideas, I really hope we can be more direct and purposeful. We seem to be playing a lot of nothing football, not imposing ourselves on teams by switching defence to attack. I just hope the new gaffer isn't thinking we can create a new identity. The championship isn't the kind of league to experiment in until you've got 60 points on the board.
