Most admirable about Potts' effort was that he wasn't afraid to throw himself into a challenge. No fear at all where some others may have chickened out. He also didn't let people push him out. Not the most elegant player, but very useful to have.
That was worth the entrance fee alone. Adam is so wonderfully skilful. Proper proper class is that lad.
Think some were unconvinced by his defensive attributes initially and saw him as a luxury player somewhat. He certainly got a fair share of stick in his first season and a half I never saw it that way; for me he was always 1st name on the team sheet.
I rated Conor at the time but many didn't due to him being a bit powderpuff back then. He wasn't half the player he is now.
