If he cant get in center midfield before palmer or benson he wants to retire. Never seen out like it id play stephen dawson or perkins before them 2.

Any other industry you’d want some experience to bring on the youth…. Why do our owners think we can bypass the older head. Especially now we’re not running the legs off players!

I agree the midfield is terribly week, so why on earth would you play this system with only 2 midfielders in it? You'd add an extra body in there to compensate. It's the manager deciding we don't need that.

He wasn't dropped from the squad he was injured.

He didn't start off well but was certainly picking up before the injury.

Remember him having a great game at Bournemouth before getting injured shortly after.
He needed a run in the side to show his best form, as it’s proved at Oxford.

I’m just glad he didn’t say MISTAKES are costing us tbh .
I’m fed up of hearing that phrase ,
Continually Gifting the ball to opposition with passes where there are no Red Shirts in sight and getting powder puffed off the ball on a regular basis or leaving players unmarked is not mistakes when it happens again and again especially the passing .
It’s either Gross incompetence or can’t be arsed and get rid of ball quickly .

Yes, that was the game a lot of us thought, "oh, we have bought a decent player after all." Unfortunately he was then injured.

I understand why the club let him out on loan for the first half of this season, even if I didn't agree at the time. I don't understand the thinking at all behind not recalling him. We're struggling in midfield, massively, even if we sign a good midfielder we need someone to play alongside and none of the three current options look anywhere near ready at present.

Okay mate we’ve got it, you don’t rate him. However at both Hull and Donny they sung his praises just as they are doing now at Oxford. It is absolute stupidity not to recall him from loan. There is no way he could be anything other than an improvement on what we have in midfield at the moment. Even if he doesn’t pull up any trees it’s got to worth him being an option to prove such as you wrong.

It's not "enough said". It's just a random stat.

You don't rate him, that's fine, but you're not necessarily right in your assessment. None of us are, and as such we can't close the discussion and claim victory.
