He's playing in a winning side at the right end of League One and has obviously benefitted from a run of games. Nobody is saying he's Paul Scholes, all were saying is that it doesn't make sense it letting someone who could improve our pathetic midfield continue a loan spell. I can only presume Kane has slept with your wife and then left the back door unlocked as he left that's led to this hatred of him from you.
I would like to have heard the response to some of the smokescreen from the coach,( who increasingly looks out of his depth). " Lets be honest here Poya, you are bottom of the league, the midfield is the weakest in the division. A lot of these players have 2 seasons experience in the Championship, they are not 16 years old academy players. You can't score, you can't keep a clean sheet, yet you talk every game as if progress is being made and it will come right soon. Football supporters are not fools".
But both Sunderland and Rotherham have managers with bags of experience at that level getting the best out of their players not some U23 coach from Sweden whose only in the job because of his ability to say yes Mr Conway.
Reds need to "Make room in the squad for new signings" And there were people on here saying we would be selling our players in the upcoming transfer window just for the money Hang your heads in shame
I don't have a problem with any of the article and 100% behind Poya. It's just a repeat of stuff covered in Poya's interview from 1-2 weeks ago, which I also thought was fair and made sense. On Kane, I think his tweet following the announcement of Schopp's departure was completely unprofessional and immature, so no surprise he's not welcomed back by the new manager.
What was the tweet following the chop of schopp? For the record i think him and a few others were awfully treated by schopp whos man management skills were zero. I think he was due to come back if oxford hadnt coughed up a few quid to keep him.
Most of the names in the article were no surprise to many. Players who have not been used and players that will attract bids. However, two confuse me: 1. Sibbick. He was doing OK for us under the previous manager and now doesn’t even get a look in. 2. Vita. I can understand him going back, but I’ve never understood him being included in nearly every squad, and never played.
I don't know if you are deliberately missing the point or just don't understand at all. Nobody is saying get Kane back and we will be world beaters. They're saying the current midfield is so God awful that bringing Kane back would be an improvement even a slight one. And why are people mentioning Kane? Because whilst we could target a host of other players and possibly sign them Kane IS our player. Our player who we CHOOSE to have playing in someone else's team while Palmer and Benson **** up week after week.
Our current CEO is the worst I've ever seen in terms of how he treats supporters. His communication is the worst I ever recall and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. The perfect man for our owners I guess
Totally agree, whether it was right or wrong to let him go out, it’s served it’s purpose - got him match fit and playing regular games well in a winning side. Now is the perfect time to recall him and he’d fit straight into our poor midfield. Obviously the coach isn’t having the say on this and so it’s surely about the money.
I can think of £1.25 million reasons why he should back at Oakwell , he is our player & he was sent on loan to get fully match fit & get some game time ,not much different to what happened with Mowatt & with our current midfield having a rough time a lad on form returning would surely be beneficial & to call him useless is way over the top , from the reports we have been getting all season he is far from useless .
It's what happens when players are constantly under pressure because they haven't the ability to play at the level they are being asked to play at. You can get away with it over 1 game like a cup tie but over 24 you get found out time and time again. The last head coach took one look at the players available to him and radically changed the system sadly despite its success the owners and CEO decided they knew better than a life long football man in VI and ordered a change of system unsurprisingly VI has been proven to be right and the Muppets running Barnsley FC were very very wrong.
