You'll have to excuse me. Was a bit out, not helped by trying to erase the last 11 months from my mind!
Not the manager for any fight. If the owners think he has the mettle to get out of L1, then we are genuinely in deep trouble. It’s even tougher than the Champ, physically speaking.
You've played exactly as much professional football as Poya then. Get involved coaching an amateur community football club and you too could manage BFC in under 10 years time.
He's not the man for the job at Barnsley, unless the club completely overhaul the squad and build a team that has an experienced spine, and midfielders that can pass the ball quickly and accurately. Given the state of the finances, the squad overhaul will happen, but not sure they'll be building a team capable of playing a style of sitting deep and counter attacking.
Wow he's woeful going forward.. probably why its comes as a surprise to some he's done so well. This lad is a stopper, then to give it to someone else who can play abit to move it foward. He wants to think himself lucky that ... no one else can do it.. dropped on and got a new deal out of it.
That's the spirit. Out of interest who is it "that can play a bit" for him to give to to??? Just out of interest like. I've made my mind up on your football knowledge
Hemsy - I don’t think our recruitment, when we’ve stuck to the model and analysis available to the recruitment team, has been that bad at all. We’ve had wins and misses like most teams and like most years. Where we have fallen down is the blend of youth, potential, experience and leadership. This Summer we deviated from this model and strategy because of one man. Meaning it’s unfair to call out the recruitment team as being one of the problems with the club. In my honest opinion.
