    So the club is lacking in ambition as they have sold our second choice goalkeeper in order to strengthen the rest of the squad and give us a fighting chance of staying in this division???? Don't quite get that one. It would be nice if we could produce players like Flinders and wait for them to develop into quality players as well as building a sqaud strong enough to stay in the Championship, but the facts are this is not possible for a club like Barnsley. What good is having a top quality keeper in a couple of years when we are back in league 1???? If your honest I think you just need a reason to moan.

    Have to agree. Good prospect, hope he has a massively succesful career but at this time it seems a good deal.

    Looks like we are heading in the right direction.

    I know Scott has now left, good luck to him, but we are bringing players in. Hopefully we will sign a few more and get off to a good start in the championship and be able to stay there.

    Do you think with the lack new facers that it will bring the team even closer?
    This may give the team a fighting sprit, and determination to prove some of the doubters wrong?

    Dont forget there are 3 players to go out on loan to Scarborough so that should help balance things up a bit. That will make a total of 10 out (including Burns) and 3 in once we sign McIndoe

    looks like we were carrying too many players last season
