    I've no idea

In Tykemans post at the top of this thread he mentions the three going out so his view of the squad coming together nicely must mean 10 out and 3 in plus one replacement keeper and winger. And thats the squad he said was coming along nicely

ie a squad with 5 fewer players than got us promotion last season.

All sarcasm aside I think thats not enough - jusy my view like

RE: we might aswell have just given him away for free

Good point but the continued presence of players like Jarman and Wroe at the club start to make it less so.

    RE: heh heh

Agreed, we need more players in but at least there's some movement now.

Personally I think the Flinder's deal is a good one for us, £500k up front (if reports are to be believed) for our reserve keeper helps us to strengthen where we need to. Togwell sounds like a good young player, a defensive midfielder which is what we need. Not sure about McIndoe, I didn't see anything from Donny that would lead me to want any of their players, and gambling/alcohol problems in the past, could be a problem if he's not handled right.
Need at least a central defender, a back up goalie - or maybe bring an experienced one in so that Colgan is back up, depends what's available, a forward (maybe 2 as we needed 1 before the injury to Nardiello, perhaps a short term loan to cover for him)

It’s about striking the right balance.

In this case i think we have.

Lets not forget we have just sold our reserve keeper for up to £1M, good business by any streth of the imagination

    some very experienced defenders reqd

The goals conceded tally will of course be crucial next season. There must be some ageing ex-Prem defenders we can take on a free. I just get a sneaky feeling our defence might be found out this year.

    Sad to see him go:-|

    BUT
we now have the funds to buy in the areas we need to strengthen in lets just that Ritch can pull one or two more together. :) :)
