What game were you at?

When did we retain the ball?

We spent most of it , humping it in which ever direction we were facing?

    Maybe he is deceptive ,

as he looked like the game was continually passing him by.

He looked like he barely had a kick as QPR passed it around us , or we booted it over his head.

    Its all about opinions.

I hope he is the new Neil Redfearn who looked equally inept when we signed him but turned into one of best players ever.

    sorry fella...

...would like to agree, but the game just passed him by. They ran the midfield not us. I think he has a bit of ability but needs to get up to speed. Could be one for the future though.

    Hmmm....

Not sure I can praise him as highly as yuo would like.

Whilst he did certainly keep the ball, I thought that there times when he was caught in possession because the simple pass wasn't on and he didn't have a plan B.

Howard for example, if found with the ball at his feet and no pass on will generally take it into space, beating a man if needs be, and make room for the pass to be made.

Now that criticsm can be levelled at many players in our club but McCan for me does seem a little slow and unable to make room for himself.

I can see something in him but I'm far from convinced that he's a £100k signing at present purely because he seems so slow to react to all but the simpliest of situations. Fingers crossed that will come but just doesn't seem able to beat a man and find space for me, which is something I believe that all central midfielders need to have in their locker.
