I probably wouldn't have sold Hourihane or Winnall myself. I think the odds were significantly against us going up if we'd kept them but I'd maybe have gambled. I'm not going to criticise the decision to sell though. It was a judgement call and nearly 12 months later we're nicely placed financially and seen as a takeover possibility.
I doubt it as we have differing views on football. I'm not so small minded as to dislike everything someone says because they said it however. Conan has his views, challenges mine. I do likewise. If he posts something on whatever topic that I like I will and have either click like or agree with it.
Don't disagree and odds are if we had kept hold of them we probably be in the same position we are now bit with less money. Hence it would have been a poor decsion financially. However I still critisce the decsion as I think it would have been worth gamble. That's my opinion, I hope things change under the new owners as my fear at the moment is we have reached our peak under the current set up.
Conan, my question bore no relation to the current owner. Ignore the 40 million if you like. I just wanted to coax something positive. Whether it's just me or not all I seem to percieve from your posts is criticism. I'd like to know what you actually WANT the club to do. I may or may not agree. I simply don't know what your actual pholosophy is. If I did we might agree on more than we think.
To be honest, though I'm all for the current model I agree it has limitations. Unless we have an extremely rich benefactor we are slways going to be weaker than the big city teams. Sometimes we'll get the better of a few of them but overall the odds are heavily stacked in their favour.
