Earlier this season on a match day Mansford was up at the Metrodome before kick-off and was surprised at the numbers of BFC supporters who were drinking there. His comment at the meeting with the Head of BPL was that the club should be meeting the needs of those fans and getting the financial benefit of their custom. And so, it came to pass.............
It's not gonna please everyone ponty. 100+ in there for 2-3 hours on a match day, with food and drink, is probably the target Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would definitely go in if they had some decent drinks. Cans of fosters are pretty far from decent. On fact it's ****. Courthouse it is.
Been over it before and been confirmed by the club that we have a unused level under the exec level that can be built for minimal costs. On the other hand loads of clubs have these bars in their stadiums, many in the divisions below and they seem to operate them okay for only 23 games a year.
Club statement today on 'The Reds Bar' http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/article/the-reds-bar-set-for-yeovil-launch-1216590.aspx Good to see they now allow under 18's (ST holders) with adult supervision to enter. May even give it a try now.
