Re: Wish i'd have known.... So you want rid of him? Ok, only 6 goals and 7 assists so far this season. Would you have driven Hourihane and Winnall away too?
Pretty good advice by his agent to put this out after not getting the move he wanted. He's not going to be here next season let's be honest.
Re: Wish i'd have known.... He did drive Winnall to the Prem but got lost at chappletown so dropped him there.
I know this is all about opinions......but a few weeks or maybe days ago a few were -praising him very highly (on here), calling him one of best players, I do not but I do think he's very good on his day and a good player but premier teams!?? really? I like his confidence though but he is not a 7 out of 10 performer every week like say Yiadom and when you are looking or talking premier standard.....you need to be consistently very good most weeks, I just don't get that with Marley. However well done Hecky for having a chat or chats and I think well done for putting the views and feelings of the player in the "comical"........of course by doing so we now know he has nailed his colours to the mast, lets hope he is as good as his word (thought he was very good v Leeds btw). COYR!
I could see him in the prem, he wouldn't be at anyone in the top 8 or anything like that but he's quick, strong, persistent & is a work horse who's the type many sides fighting for safety would like. He's also an underrated finisher & decent in the air. There's plenty of lads at clubs like West Brom & Burnley currently sat in the top half who don't have any eye catching attributes but who are solid players. Unfortunately I'm certain he's off in the summer, in fact I'd say that after reading the description of Hedges' game that he's his replacement. Watkins continues to get my backing as long as he puts in the same level of effort as he has in the last 2 home games since the request.
