Accounts couple of years ago stated Denim was owed £165million by club that a bit more than a few million.
I find it hard to believe he looked at a run down club getting a few thousand fans historically and thought for a few quid I can make lots of money.

When.I say lots of money I mean relative to him, let’s say at the outset he thought I could make £10million why would he given his worth but equally I can’t believe he thought he could make £100m.

Yep. Fully agree. Unless we're bought out by an oil state then the absolute summit of our realistic ambitions would be avoiding relegation every year in the Greed League, resting players in FA Cup Quarter finals because we've got 3 points at stake against Brentford the following week and, eventually, getting relegated anyway.
    As you say...what fun.

I was on about the way in which they got the premier league. Those losses occurred when they tried to stay in the Prem and went crazy. I'm not sticking up for them, its moronic and is one of the great examples of how football has eaten itself, but I was trying to answer, why Bournemouth?

Not directly, but know he had a mansion in the area which was his primary residence. Believe owning a football club is a very good way to wash money, reduce tax bills and gives an air of respectability. It's worked for him as he avoided sanctions after the Ukraine invasion. He's been reinvesting his funds for so long that it is nigh on impossible to figure out the original source.

All of that I can get. From what I also understand he originally invested with someone else who he then bought out, so maybe similar to our Chairman started off as an investment but caught the bug as well.
    Thanks

Aye, there's Sandbanks up the road with houses that look like they belong in Miami. But they still step out of their ocean mansions, look up at grey skies for most of the year, get pissed on by the weather and shat on by a seagull.

In a straight fight, I'd rather wrestle with a seagull over my Gregg's than a pelican. Those things are nasty
