Avoid Ceebeebies. It's had a black banner with a message saying "Major News Report on BBC1" on and off the screen all afternoon. Not sure the Tellytubby audience were too impressed. My Grandson certainly looked baffled.
Rip old chap, great man, did great work for the country and the youth of the country, long live the Monarchy, God save the Queen
It's a sad moment, no doubt, but not sure why EXACTLY THE SAME THING has to be on BBC1 and 2. 'Ar lass is right put out that Gardeners' World has been biffed. I might have to talk to her now.
I will never understand the people who feel the need to say hearts and prayers for someone they don't know, or to attend the funeral of a celebrity they didn't know or queue up to look at a body or to sign s book of remembrance etc but at the same time I will never understand why people feel the need to insult abuse or just post derogatory comments towards the grieving family when someone does either
We have BBC1 Scotland, BBC2 Scotland, BBCNews 24 and the BBC Scotland channel which was to be showing Hearts v Alloa. All showing the same regurgitated news. Surely the football could have been left on for us football fans. Absolutely shocking.
I wouldn't mind if it was different stuff about Prince Philip on each channel, but it's literally the same thing on both. Obviously some protocol being observed, but I don't see it as disrespectful to want to watch a bit of Monty Don with his big, mucky hands instead. Anyway, Watford-Reading for me....
