Ok thanks. The orthopaedic team are pleased that I'm walking around virtually pain free and have no apparent stiffness left in the joints. The Renal Consultant has said that the results of the bloods in November still show a further loss in Kidney function. She also thinks that the anaemia is more likely to be due to my kidneys not producing the hormone/protein (can't remember which she said) that kick starts the red blood cells into making more so I may have to start giving myself injections to over-ride this. She has taken lots of blood to do various other tests as well as the normal tests. If I don't hear anything in the meantime then I see her and the Consultant from Nottingham in May, but she may have to send for me before then. If I stay ok she can't see why I couldn't go abroad (apart from all the extra paperwork for school) but quite a bit can change in 6 months especially seeing as my kidney function has dropped 20% in less than 18 months.
