    That's not right mate

At Pride Park last week, all the away fans were encouraged to go outside for a drink and a smoke, actually OUTSIDE the ground, not just an open area inside the ground.

Police / stewards just made sure no went wondering off anywhere.

It was spot on, and so easy, everyone was behaving themselves.

    Thought you got 10%? Supertyke

Am I mistaken? Supertyke? thought you got 10% off in the club shop with a season ticket? I usually do.

    RE: Point 4

Is there any legal reason why alcohol can't be served in the Ponty or is it a club choice??

Strange if it is a club choice.

Club can licence any area of the ground

unless the Police have valid objections, which I doubt they could as there has never been alcohol fuelled disorder in the Ponty, or anywhere in the stadium, in recent history.

I can only guess they designed the stand wrong (missing a bar).

But most clubs don't have a bar - just pour cans into plastic glasses - surely the Ponty can manage to do that?

Yes, they don't have to have a draught dispense system

like the East Stand ....... cans decanted into plastic glasses would be a great compromise. It could start next week. Get some Carlsberg or similar on, poured into pastic glasses, you can't get drunk on Carlsberg, honest.

It's solely up to the club. Only the Cops could object & then they would have to do so publicly with some **** & bull story that could be torn apart.
