    Come, come

Conlon did what he was asked to do when on and I dont think he lost a header. Fact was there was no-one up with him to take the knock ons (understandably).

caused their defence some considerable problems.

    Get thi blinkers off.

    RE: Come, come

I think the argument is not Nads or Conlon winning headers, Conlon certainly put himself about and won a few, more the fact that we moved from a passing/bring the ball forward game to a "lump up field" game when the players were still there to hold the ball and bring it forward in a more controlled manner. If you are a man short in midfield then you might look to bypass midfield but it was up front where we were a man down so theres no reason to change style of play.
Not saying that the team didn't cope admirably but we might not have constantly been giving them the ball back.

RE: Nicky Wroe is simply not good enough.

I haven't been a fan of Wroe's in the past but he gave us something down the left that we hadn't had in the first half. In the first half any threat we had all came down the right, in the second, after Wroe came on, we started to threaten down the left as well. It came as a surprise to me but a very pleasant surprise. If he can repeat that sort of performance, he'll do for me.
