RE: Fingers crossed We have Guelimots and The Scripts performing, amongst others. You just turn up and watch them.
The pub trade in town centre is on its arse at the moment, with the exception of Market Hill on a Saturday night, lets be right who would pay £2.70 a pint to sit in Chennels or Maceys when you can get 2 boxes of Stella for £16 at Morrinoffs....
RE: Already opened, meant to be very good nt Leeds is the former T&C. Will definitely be going to gigs there just to bring back old memories.
Chennels and Maceys are OK, your having a giraffe.....full of tramps, alcoholics and dead beats.... Blah is the kind of place we need more of in town centre....agree about Base though...WTF....????
Alright Dyson me old mucker I was on the Milburn Myspace last night, i was expecting to see a few comments from you. What you been upto anyway?
No we dont need more places like Blah. Unless your the type of lad who goes out in pink shirts & ripped jeans
Nothing much mate, very belated congrats for the Wedding. Was at the Academy a couple of weeks ago - Milburns final gig - that is some venue. Still doing BDTD or you moved on to pastures new?
I got dragged in the other weekend No one could get served as 3 of the bar staff were putting leafs in drinks, a leaf in a drink and it was not a cuppa. We quickly buggered off.
Blah??? Full of ponced up (well theres not a word for them) 'ponced up chav' closest I can get. Crap music and really expensive. Not for me. Maceys and Chennells good for a drink and somewhere you can actually socialise rather than stand looking poncey unable to hear for the ***** busting in your ears!
I've sort of moved on Still a bit involved but things could be changing very soon, there's a takeover of the pub happening so fingers crossed it will happen. We'll have plenty of money to spend and we can start looking at bigger and better things. I'm doing Darton M Fest again, if it doesn't flood. I was on your street not long back, someone a few doors up from your house had order something off us. Couple of t shirts if i remember rightly.
