Cow & Calf a better choice

Than either of the Red Lions in Greno. One on Main St is full of kids, and one on Halifax Rd, (A61) is mainly used by diners. C&C much better choice.

Went in Red Lion off the main road a few years back cos one of the lads knew the landlord at the time, but C & C will be this years venue, and apparently handy for to and fro from Hillsbro'.

Just praying for avoiding a defeat.

She's playing hard to get.

I reckon "cousins wedding" is code for "I'll meet you in the disabled bogs at 1:30pm".

Is it football you are talking about?
Grow up - the lot of you.

The Kelham Island Tavern round the corner from the Fat Cat or Cask and Cutler, all good beer pubs not too far from swillsborough and no lager swilling tw@ts to contend with

It's a nice Pub but a long way from the ground. You would all be better getting nearer, to some of the ones mentioned, no wearing of colours though.

No way is it 2 mins from the ground !

What did you arrive and depart in ? A bloody Helicopter?.
It's nearly at Grenoside and is a very good way from the ground.
Be honest Tuffers, if folk stay here pre- match they would all be looking at Taxis to the ground and then there is all the traffic that such a BIG CLUB generates
Ok for pre-match and moving on but a very long way from the Stadium

Now then, how's the pre match tension in your house this week?!! Can you believe neither me or Mr Owl can make the game? Wedding at Whitley Hall - bloody hell so close I'll be able to hear you lot singing. Gutted is not strong enough. Mr Owl off on a golf trip... think he's running away as far as poss - maybe he knows what's coming.

Anyway, can't fault your choice of Fat Cat, but Greno def the place for anyone wearing colours - quite a contingent of us here - seen the Reds shirts surfacing this week on the school run!

As for Cow & Calf - it's 2 miles to ground so whoever said 2 mins obviously has got a helicopter.

(Was talking to your mate in London a few weeks back for the Preston game)

Aye. lovely pub and nice Sam Smiths beers, but..

Too far from Ground.
Taxis galore and then you would be queuing for miles

Oh god - you know what I'm like wi' names!!! Yes it must be - was a fleeting chat (I had my six year old in tow.... She lives near Windsor - "Freya"? SHe watched first half with my sister - was telling me about the years sitting between an Owl & a Red.

All quiet in this house - tried a bit of banter with him indoors but I actually think he's lost all interest. Certainally he's not fussed about missing the game!
