NOBODY knows as much about football as me! Except Hemsworth Tyke, my hero and role model. :D

    Hope your Mum's well, mate

After seeing some of young Dale's goals I can only assume you've played a part in his footballing education.:D

She seems better this week, thanks. Unfortunately, young Dale wasn't even born when I was reinventing the beautiful game. :)

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.
I went to school with Pat Jennings, who must be Dale's dad or something. Or he may have been if Pat Jennings was his real name, which it wasn't. He wasn't even a good goalkeeper. He did have huge hands though, and Brother Lee Love was already taken. He didn't have huge hands though. We were never much good with nicknames at our school. Anyway, where were we?

But German football is rubbish. Fact. So if a German team is prepared to let him go, how bad must he be? Eh? Ask yourself that.

I went to school with Boudicca. She was very impressive with the chariot driving, but could be a bit moody.

Mr C's name is still talked about in hushed tones round the playing fields of Hoyland & Elsecar.

Did either you or Paul go to 'Sheky Pete's' barbers?

He once cut my ear. I was only 10 and I cried. Which was rather fitting, as I'd just had the latest Gazza haircut (once the bleeding/crying stopped).

We knew him as Machete Pete :nails:

He's not long since retired (last couple of years) so the ears of Hoyland are now safe ;)

I went to Ernest Sylvester up the Common - safer but he couldn't half talk :D

I use an Asian Barbers here in Bradford. It's named 'The Barber's Shop' which I think is very witty and original....

£7 it costs me and the fella that does mine is top drawer. Best hairdresser I've used. And he's not a terrorist.

Full of surprises this world innit? :D
