You won't like me saying this but the evidence from the balance sheet says he is doing a very good job. To go into admin again would most likely finish the Club off, IMHO.

We sold Beresford in march '89. John Dennis didn't take over till November of the same year.

 

Doyle was Doyle but when it came to 'sorting things out in the Car Park' he was right up there with the best.................and of course, his unforgettable PR work when being interviewed by radio Dee Dah. Who could also forget his 'Dad's jacket which he 'wrapped him up in' when he watched BFC as a lad. Lovely bloke to boot (as in the saying 'to boot' not to be confused with being given a right good kicking).
