    That her family is feeling the pain is beyond doubt. But speaking from my own experience of my grandmother's decline, the wooliness and confusion is interspersed with moments of absolute clarity. Often this is the worst part as the patient is able to comprehend what is happening to them, which is absolutely terrifying.
