My personal view

Is that the parents of Messrs Parkin and Owusu got it the wrong way round.

Sam Owusu and Lloyd Parkin would have made considerably better footballers

Blinked i maybe, but the fact of the matter is that Hassell if regularly out of position due misreading the game and over running or mispassing the ball which again leaves him no mans land.

Hassell is like Coco the fecking clown when it come to playing football

I like Hassall and think he is playing well this season. Has done better than I thought when played at centre back as well with him being small!!

Tonge was playing well at RB last season though, strange him not getting a look in, same with Robbie Williams, he was looking really good pre-season scoring a lot of goals, looking very strong in the air from set-plays!!

Has a great left foot, would score free-kicks and looks good at pens, still hope he gets going! Austin plays ok at LB when not in silly mode, maybe that's why we have looked more solid cause Robbie got forward more!!

 

If you are right and that was the case

How come we've got the best defensive record in the division? In the last five games he's started we've only conceded 3 goals. It doesn't matter how good the rest of the team are, if Hassell was as bad as you make out we'd concede a hell of a lot more. I can't remember him being at fault for any goals we've conceded this season. I'm not saying he's a world beater, he isn't, but he's good enough at this level and he's part of a competent defensive outfit.

i agree with that. however, we were not shipping in goals before he got in the side this season.
